Bitcoin Ekiti was founded with a simple but ambitious vision: to make Bitcoin practical, understandable, and accessible for everyone in Ekiti State and beyond. Our mission is to bridge the knowledge gap by providing quality Bitcoin education while fostering a thriving circular economy where Bitcoin is used in everyday life. Our work focuses on education, community building, and real-world Bitcoin adoption. Through structured training programs, workshops, meetups, merchant onboarding, and public awareness campaigns, we equip individuals with the knowledge and confidence to understand Bitcoin beyond speculation. Participants learn the history and evolution of money, how Bitcoin works, self-custody, security best practices, and practical ways to earn, save, and spend Bitcoin. We also support local businesses in accepting Bitcoin as payment, creating opportunities for merchants and customers to participate in a growing Bitcoin economy. Based in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria, Bitcoin Ekiti serves as a hub for anyone interested in learning about and using Bitcoin responsibly. Our programs are open to students, entrepreneurs, professionals, artisans, and business owners, with no prior knowledge required.
